About the Business

Over-the-counter herbal products are often of a weaker strength than the therapeutic dosage. Most importantly, they contain a combination of herbs or herbal constituents, which target a large base of potential consumers; they are not designed to suit you as an individual. Not everything that is 'natural' is safe. Several herbs could cause adverse affects if taken in an inappropriate form or dosage or interact with allopathic drugs. A Medical Herbalist is trained in understanding the physiological action of herbs, so the medicines administered are unlikely to cause any side effect or interaction with prescribed drugs.

Many current orthodox medications are based on plant constituents. They isolate the so-called 'active constituents' of a plant, and then synthesise, manufacture and patent the most potent of them on a large scale. Orthodox medications are known to act quickly but cause side effects.
