About the Business

I studied Western Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University London and graduated with First Class Honours in June this year. I have always had a particular interest in human biology, the role of the body in health and it's response to disease.

My love for natural medicines however, blossomed whilst I was in medical school and after long consideration, I left and decided to pursue a degree in herbal medicine. This was the best decision of my life and I have no regrets, thank God!

I believe that the plants around us have been placed there for our benefit. They have properties that can aid in many of the common ailments we face today. Although I believe in herbal medicine as a form of healing, I strongly consider nutrition and other lifestyle factors to be as vital in treatment and prevention.

What happens in a consultation?

What happens in a consultation?

The first consultation will last anywhere between 45 minutes and 1 hour. As well as exploring your main complaint, a very detailed case history will be taken in order to paint an accurate picture of you as an individual and to provide the best advice and treatment.

Your blood pressure and pulse are usually recorded and, if necessary, a physical examination will be done. After careful consideration, a herbal preparation is given (usually for 2 weeks) and possible diet and lifestyle advice suited to the individual.

The next follow-up appointment is usually in a couple weeks and lasts around 30 mins. Here, your condition and treatment is reviewed and follow-up appoints are generally every 1-2 months.
