The Canterbury Therapist

To cure disease after it has appeared is like digging a well when one already feels thirsty, or forging weapons after war has already begun.' No matter how you choose to express it you will no doubt agree with the sentiment. Modern life can be very stressful and hectic. Meeting work deadlines, ferrying kids to clubs, keeping house and home together, all with a smile on our faces, can take its toll on our physical and mental well-being.

All too often we allow ourselves to become run down and then illness sets in. And then we are of no use to anyone. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way that we simply need to take time out to let our bodies rest, repair and recover.
