The Chinese Medicine Sanctuary

The Chinese Medicine Sanctuary provides traditional Chinese medical treatment including acupuncture and herbal medicine in Guildford and Sreatham by a highly qualified English practitioner trained in both the UK and in China, and registered with both the British Acupuncture Council and the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (two of the UK's main regulatory bodies).

The system is based around the Chinese concept of Qi (pronounced chee) and in a normal state of health, this Qi flows around the body in a harmonious fashion. When we are suffering from disease this flow of Qi is disrupted and may slow down or stagnate and causes an imbalance in the body's functioning thus resulting in physical/mental symptoms.
