Gerda Ankenbauer-Spetch, BSc (Hons), Lic Ac, MBAcC of Healing the Whole You is a fully qualified, licensed and insured Acupuncturist and Cosmetic Acupuncturist and a Member of the British Acupuncture Council and also Cosmetic Acupuncture UK who currently practises in Reading in Berkshire and Basingstoke in Hampshire.

She graduated from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading where the tutors are amongst the best practitioners of Chinese Medicine in the Western World after completing a three-and-a-half year Bachelor of Science Honours Degree course in Acupuncture.

At the College, Gerda was taught both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where the focus is on the patient's ailment, and Five Element Acupuncture, where the patient is seen as a whole, thus incorporating the best of both these systems of Chinese Medicine.
